Ethiopia Sun-Dried, was selected by Starbucks because of the close collaboration with the Ethiopian farmers. Aged Sumatra because of the necessary work to age the green beans for up to five years. Papua New Guinea because it appears on the Starbucks menu since it opened for the first time and represents one of the most remote coffee origins in the world.
Colombian coffee grown at high altitude was selected because it is where Starbucks first contributed to the community projects to help improve farmer’s quality of life.
